Mix and Mash

I have to preface this post with the warning that this is merely a list of a lot of thoughts. I felt the strong desire to blog (probably because I spent all evening looking at wedding blogs to avoid doing homework), so I decided I would.

First Thing:
I'm buying my wedding shoes this weekend. And I'm making shoe clips. I'm also going to do something crafty and fun this weekend, make my cake topper (I think). I'll be purchasing the wedding prep books and reading those instead of looking at wedding blogs to avoid homework. The list of wedding to-dos is longer than the list of school to-dos. Unfortunately the school to-dos are more important and require a lot more effort (but a lot less decision making). I can't decide which is harder (or which one I'd rather conquer).

Second Thing:
I hate Spanish Golden Age Drama. However, it gives me a chance to daydream, something I don't do often enough. (And I have time to practice my signature).

Third Thing:
There are 150 days left until my wedding. And we 1 day shy of exactly 5 months. I'm trying to keep from letting apathy settle in.

Fourth Thing:
I changed my name due to the request of a dear friend (but it'll make other dear friends very happy also). It'll probably only stay like that a week (because Nate won't be online until then and he hates it when I put the name Jamanda up).

Fifth Thing:
I have such a wonderful fiance. Although he sometimes falls short of the ridiculously high expectations I foolishly let myself hold, sometimes he goes above and beyond and it makes me laugh. A lot. I hope that I'll be getting a few presents in the mail in a couple of weeks, some of which will be all of the Grey's Anatomy seasons on dvd and a huge area rug for our future living room, and some of which I'm not sure . . . well I might know, but I probably shouldn't. It just makes me laugh. His mission for the next three months (well technically three in a half but who cares!) is to find two leather bracelets and carry them carefully overseas back to me. Once upon a time I did that for him (only there was no sea) but that was two years ago and I lost mine and he broke his (because he wore it faithfully, until it got so worn down it fell off).

Sixth Thing:
I really really want Cheeze-Its and I am trying to hard to get over that craving. I'm hoping that any minute now that craving will turn into a strong disgust . . . but let's face it, that won't happen. So I guess I'll satisfy that craving with a little organizational culture and an e-mail to the Academy.
