Drawn to redemption

First Thing:
I know this song is long, but it is totally worth it. You can't end it early or you'll miss the best part.

"We are his portion and he is our prize. Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes. If grace is an ocean we're all sinking. So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss and my heart burns violently inside of my chest. I don't have time to maintain these regrets. . . ." I have clearly fallen so in love with this song (and using the word clearly, another issue entirely). I want to be drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes. Luckily, I am and right now is as good a time as any to be reminded I am. This line, "drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes" sums it all up for me. It will be a shadowy/sunny Easter weekend like it has been and will continue to be forever. I will not forget You, You are my God, my King.

Second Thing:

I've been a ball of emotion and will continue to be in the days leading up to the SSgt's return. It's time to get strong again and suck it up. My fortune today said that good things are coming to me. What I want to know is how soon. Invitations will hopefully get done this weekend and so will my nails, a homecoming outfit, and a couple of papers will also, hopefully, get taken care of . . . I have never been a patient person, I really hope that this next week teaches me all the patience in the world.

And life is good . . . I finally got my ring cleaned again. . . . It's looking marvelous. . . . Hopefully Mr. Norton likes it just as much as I do when he gets home and finally sees it again!

Yay for clean rings. I know mine is in much need of a cleaning. But I think after 4 years you just forget about those things sometimes. :)
