The time has finally come

First Thing:
I'm sitting here wearing a Husker Alumni shirt.  It feels kind of bizarre.  In three weeks Nate will move down to Texas and it feels even more bizarre.  In 34 days Nate and I will "tie the knot".  BIZARRE!    I can't believe this point in my life that always seemed far away is now just weeks away.  Time will fly by and my schedule is packed.  Luckily so is Nate's and that means it'll feel like time is going by even faster!  It's starting to feel that much more real now that I'm done with school and back at home.  It also began feeling real when Nate and I received our first wedding gift.  We went to dinner with a wonderful family on Thursday night and they gave us this:
Because Nate is a corn fed Nebraska boy and I am a Husker alum.  I LOVE IT!  I'm trying to think of where we'll put it in our new home.  I'm so excited to hang it up!  A big shout out to Randi and her family for being so thoughtful.  It's perfect and I can't wait to put it up!

Second Thing:
Nate and I are going to try and buy a house within the next year.  I'm so excited.  And I know he is too.  I'll get to decorate and stop packing/unpacking.  He'll get to fix things up and build things and make things the way he wants.  : )

Buying a house sounds so amazing; it'll be forever before we get to do that.
