First Thing:
The county clerk mailed our marriage license to my new apartment address on July 8th, which was almost a month ago. They have not received it back to due an incorrect address. My apartment complex has not received any mail from any tenants that did not belong to them. The post office gave me a case number and I should receive a call back in two days concerning my lost mail. I'm trying really hard not to be annoyed by this but I can't help it. I'm annoyed. Really annoyed. Can you please tell me how mail sent to Iraq does not get lost but a freaking marriage license is lost in the mail!? I mean really? All I can say is whatever. Technically I am legally married, it's documented with the state and I can purchase a certified copy for $21. Personally, I don't think that I should have to purchase a copy because I didn't lose it. The situation was out of my hands, but apparently I still have to purchase it. I know; I know; I'm still married but still.
Second Thing:
My cheerleading debut begins tonight as I participate in my little sister's cheer show case. It should be hilarious. Almost as hilarious as my music video debut to "Spice Up Your Life" by the Spice Girls. And my husband will be there to cheer/laugh me on.
