First Thing:
Beyond Scared Straight is probably the greatest television show. It takes at risk kids and shows them the the realities of where there life is headed (jail) if they continue on that path. Inmates lead the kids around the jail pretty much scaring them straight. I was trying to find a good clip to post but really the website has the best clips.
I really feel like this good be beneficial to some of these individuals. This boy, below, is 13 and has already been in trouble with the law for shoplifting. He was crying during one of demonstrations. His life could possible change because of this experience.
I feel like this is the best thing I've come across lately.
Second Thing:
Now that Nate is back in school . . .

Now that Nate is back in school . . .
I have to figure out what to do while he's studying. First, I would like to update my blog more frequently (and add more pictures). I would like to read more. I would like to go to bed early (except not tonight). I would also like to get caught up on the last TWO seasons of Grey's Anatomy and follow it on Thursday nights.
AND . . .
I would like to get involved in the church we've been attending. We love it and it kind of feels like home.
And this is just because I really love this photo and I miss my sisters and my best friends a lot!
