First Thing:
I went running tonight for the first time in a VERY, VERY, VERY long. If only I went running on a road like this. I have forgotten how much I love running. I had forgotten about that moment when I can't push myself any farther and then . . . I gain a new burst of energy for another mile or two. (Although tonight it was only .5). What have I been thinking?! I've spent the last month or two trying to make myself do P90X. I love Tony Horton and his extreme annoyance when I'm trying to doing Ab-Ripper X. However, after waiting for this knee problem to heal, I was severely out of shape. That provided me with a HUGE lack of motivation for going to the extreme.
Running will bring me back. Running will remind me how much I love to push myself.
It felt so good to finally bring myself to get out there again. This is the first time I am actually looking forward to the stiff hips I will have in the morning. And thank you Nathaniel for my iPod Nano and Nike+ arm band. It really does make running that much more of an incredible experience.
Second Thing:
I miss my sisters. I talked to Lauren tonight for a very long time. Tomorrow I'm hoping to talk to Sarah.
Third Thing:
Nate and I laid on our bed when I got home (after a nice good flop on the bed) and listened to music for about an hour. Hardly saying anything. Just laying there enjoying our life. We have decided that if we have a house next Thanksgiving . . . we will get each other a dog.

I LOVE this picture of us. I'm thinking it will make a perfect addition to an empty picture frame that's been in my room for a year. I was hoping to put one of all 5 girls in it but I love that picture of us so much I think it needs to be recognized.
