First Thing:
Sunday when I was perusing Target with my sister because I can't exactly spend money on anything for fun (well almost anything) I saw a picture frame that gave me a little inspiration. A mosaic. So I've decided I'm taking my favorite picture from my wedding . . . I love this picture because we look so happy and you can see the bird seed and the sun and although I cropped it, a lot of our friends and family in the background smiling and laughing with us.
So I've divided this picture into 16 separate photos and I'm going to put them together in a poster sized frame with separators and create my own wedding mosaic. It will go above our fireplace and below our gbr sign (which I love every time I look at it because it reminds me of the good life).
Second Thing:
This is going to be the best surprise for Nate when he comes home. I hope he loves it as much as I love the idea of it. He has no idea but if he reads my blog (which he hardly ever does) he'll find out about it before he comes home. : ) I'm super excited for this because it's my first house project.
