After about 6 months of searching for a job I have finally been blessed with one. And what a long trying time these past 6 months have been. Thankfully God knew all along. I put in an application at the end of July and received a call last week about coming in for an interview. Little did I know I'd be spending about 6 hours "interviewing". However, I loved every minute of it. It was an interesting way of interviewing but such a great experience. So I receive a call today letting me know I can have the job so of course I accept. I'll be working in Human Resources doing all sources of resource-y things for humans : ) I'm really excited about this opportunity and I can't wait to start. Orientation is next Tuesday. However, instead of enjoying this last week of so called freedom, I am going to be cleaning out our guest bedroom. Now that I don't have the no job hanging over my head, I can clean guilt free.
Second Thing:
I'm trying to upload all my wedding photos tonight for the 7th time. Literally, this is my 7th try. Doing this brought a very good memory to mind. After Nate and I left our reception on our way to downtown Dallas for the night, we stopped at the first gas station we spotted for some water. In the midst of everything I think we forgot how thirsty dancing makes us and there were no pitchers of ice water like there was at Plamor. So in our decorated car filled with balloons will pulled up to a gas station and Nate got out in his tux and I was up to my neck in the skirt/train of my dress. Clearly we were JUST married. : ) Everyone honked at us and a bunch of people walking out yelled congrats at me in the car. The chef at the hotel, while we were waiting for the elevator, offered us a free dinner the next night if we were going to be there. (It was a shame we were leaving that night for Aruba, only not really). And on that note, I haven't posted any pictures of the honeymoon. This was on the beach when we were walking the shore and watching the sun set the night before we left. : ) (And because my posts lack photos most of the time).
