So my birthday was on Friday and it was glorious. Nate made it absolutely perfect (along with a few others). A khaki trench coat, pizza and garlic parmesan breadsticks, champagne, and and movies. It was the perfect night in.
One of my best friends, Tia, sent me a beautiful bouquet of SUNFLOWERS!
Not only that, but my new colleagues also sent me a bouquet of flowers to welcome me and wish me a happy birthday. I hadn't even started yet and they made my day that much better! : )
I really do love my job thus far. They are all so fantastic and I am going to learn so much about Human Resources and the hotel atmosphere. I'm right off the interstate in both places, which rocks because although it takes me about 30 minutes both ways, it's a straight shot and it does flow pretty nicely. I'm excited for all the opportunities this job will provide. And hello, they sent me flowers before I was "officially" employed there anyway. How could I not love this place?
And what a blessing . . . God knows these things.
